Birth
Personal support strengthens the woman and the couple and gives a sense of security – wherever you wish to bring your child into the world.
Choosing the place of birth
My aim is to strengthen a woman's basic trust in her own abilities: to carry her child in peace, to give birth with devotion and to care for it with love. I support you in your search, regardless of where you wish to bring your child into the world.
Births in hospital
Outpatient birth
Are you planning an outpatient birth? Then you go to the hospital or birth centre and, after a few hours, return home with your baby after the U1 newborn examination. I will then visit you at home on the day of the birth. In the following 3 days you will be visited at least twice.
Inpatient birth
You stay in hospital for a few days after the birth and go home with your baby after the U2 newborn examination. The next day I will continue to care for you in your familiar surroundings.
Births at home
With home birth midwifery and in a birth centre, you can get to know your midwife early on. Personal support strengthens the woman and the couple during the birth process and provides a great sense of security.
Small births
When a baby is to be born still, was born still, or a pregnancy ends in a miscarriage, it is a deep loss. There is then no “right” or “wrong” in dealing with grief, your body and your thoughts.
I take time for you and your family, listen and accompany you. After a miscarriage you are entitled to midwifery care. The costs are covered by health insurance.
Please get in touch whenever you would like support. You do not have to explain anything you do not wish to share.
